# Invitation and Permissions

This page will have the latest invites to add the Alpha Canary to your Discord server and the permissions needed.

### Invite Alpha Canary

Invite the Alpha Canary to your server using one of the following links:

### **Permissions**

The Alpha Canary bot **requires** the following permissions (for which you will be prompted):

* [x] Send Messages
* [x] Send Messages in Threads
* [x] Embed Links
* [x] Use Application Commands

## Make your first command

To make your first command write `/` to bring up the Slash Commands of the server and write:

### `/420`

420 is a fun and basic command from the Alpha Canary with no parameter needed.
